FAQS

  • What days/times are you open?

-I am open Monday through Saturday. Hours range from 10am-6pm. Please check my booking website to see up to date available hours.

  • How often should I get work done?

-This is a tricky question. It depends on your daily routine; work life, your level of exercise, past injury etc. I always say, if you have an active job and/or exercise 3+ days a week- coming in biweekly is the best option at the begginning. But you have to keep it consistent in order to see a difference in your muscular well being. It is best to come in for a consult & we can figure out a recovery routine for you!

  • What is cupping & does it hurt?

-Cupping is one of my favorites! It is an ancient Chinese method of creating more blood circulation to muscles that are not working properly. Helps decrease pain, speeds up recovery & helps to decompress tissue.

  • How long do cupping marks last?

-It depends. Everyone is different based on injury/body dysfunction. The darker the mark, it can last anywhere from 7-14 days.

  • What is IASTM?

-Short for "Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization". This is done by using a steel tool gliding across muscle. It helps break up scar tissue & create blood flow to that muscle group.

  • How would you describe your massage technique?

-I am not the typical massage therapist. I specialize in athletes, injury & pain. If you are looking for soft music & rose petals- you're in the wrong place. I use a mix of techniques such as deep tissue, sports massage, Trigger point work, ART & myofascial release to help with my clients problem areas. If you're battling a chronic injury, overuse injury, TMJ, sciatica, car accident pain etc. COME SEE ME.

  • My body is a little sore after bodywork/cupping, is that normal?

-Yes that is normal! If you were previously sore from exercise and/or not used to bodywork/cupping- that is a normal body response for first timers.

  • I just worked out & sore from the week, how long should I wait to get bodywork done?

-Depends on your level of soreness. Please wait at least 3 days to give your body some time to relax. If you are not sore and just worked out- please wait a couple hours for bodywork. It is best when your body has cooled down & you stopped sweating.

  • Why should I drink water before/after bodywork?

-Water is a must before & after! Helps reduce soreness, helps with the pliability of your skin when I am working on you & helps move the waste in your body from bodywork.

  • Do you sell giftcards?

-Yes! Giftcards are on my booking site.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

-Card, cash, paypal, zelle & venmo.
